During the context of preventive and mandatory social isolation, technology solutions company EXO continues to work on innovations that bring value to the community. Among these developments is the Mobile Energy Unit (UME), a rapidly deployable, easy-to-move, renewable energy system that the company created exclusively to be evaluated within the framework of Operation General Manuel Belgrano.
The mobile energy unit project was born as a need to provide the voice and data communications system of the Large Combat Units with an alternative power source, taking as an option a cleaner, quieter and self-sustainable energy source such as solar energy.

"It is important as a company that in difficult and uncertain times we are there to support those who care for us. At EXO, we are putting all our efforts into making technology a functional pillar in this context. This development will help the Army to fulfil its mission during this emergency," said Fernando González, EXO's Social Responsibility and Sustainability Manager.

The UME is suitable for use in any terrain, has 3KVA of power, built-in batteries that give an autonomy of 8 hours in case of lack of sunlight and a system of guides that allow the rapid deployment of six solar panels and put the system into operation in less than 15 minutes.

EXO focuses on environmentally friendly developments, making a strong commitment to solar energy. As a company we understand that we must accompany the global changes and carry out our work in accordance with the values that we transmit from the area of Social Responsibility and Sustainability", said González, who added: "As a company we understand that we must accompany the global changes and carry out our work in accordance with the values that we transmit from the Social Responsibility and Sustainability area". González concluded.

In addition to the Mobile Energy Unit that was delivered, 500 netbooks were handed over along with 500 netbooks that will increase the facilities available in the Emergency Zone Commands in the framework of the commemoration of the Argentine Army Day.

The project was presented at the National Military College to the Chief of the Army, Brigadier General Agustín Cejas by personnel from the General Directorate of Communications and Informatics, the Manager of social responsibility and sustainability Fernando González and the Manager of special projects development, Engineer Ernesto Poschenrieder.
